@DrZook Thanks for the heads up DrZook, I'll check it out. Hopefully Nokia will fix this problem soon so that we don't need to use other programs to get a signal lock...

Instead of google maps, I used the “Trapster” application to the same effect. Opening the app first locked onto the GPS quite quickly. Then I opened Nokia maps and the fix was in a couple of seconds.

This solution worked for me.
Without maps.google my signal was fixed sometimes even after 30 minutes.
Now with maps.google i got a fix within 20 seconds. After the fix i started Sygic (my navigator) and it picked up that fix inmediatly.
